When you consider everything contained on Marshall's campus, it's hart to believe it all fits in a space of 16 square blocks. From the 123,00 square feet of fitness and fun in the Recreation Center, to the state-of-the-art research facilities in the Robert C. Byrd Biotechnology Science Center, Marshall offers a world of opportunity in a close-knit community.

The compact nature of our campus is just one aspect of its accessibility. Despite our proximity to the beautiful West Virginia hills, our campus is relatively flat. Also, more than half of our grounds are closed to vehicle traffic, yet commuter students can find parking nearby.

At Marshall, we value the relationships that are built between faculty and students, and we strive to provide ample opportunity for students to interact with their professors. We begin with a strong contingent of full-time faculty who make up almost 90% of our instructional staff. This means that most of your classes will be taught by someone who is on campus daily.
